Marcus Jenkins was born in Madison, Ga., one of five children. He is a recent graduate of Emory University with a Bachelor's Degree in International Studies. Marcus has dreams of working in the government before retiring as a professor in his later years. Due to his personal history of HIV incidence in his family, he wants to help lower the prevalence of HIV within youth and young adults. He hopes to foster creative dialogue among youth while positively affect populations that may have limited exposure to treatment or services. Marcus brings in an open-minded approach.
For more than five years, HYPE has made it its mission to equip youth and communities living with HIV with the capacities to be leaders in their communities and to promote the interests of their communities.
